Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 June 2026

These terms govern your use of the SKIWA Mentoring Program website and members platform (the “Platform”). By using the Platform you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Platform.

Who can use it

The public website is open to everyone. The members area is for accepted participants of the SKIWA Mentoring Program — mentees, mentors, committee members, and invited guests — using the access codes or accounts issued to them. Access codes are personal: keep them confidential and don’t share them outside the program.

Acceptable use

  • Use the Platform only for participating in the program and for lawful purposes.
  • Don’t attempt to access other members’ data, bypass access controls, probe or disrupt the service, or scrape its content.
  • Don’t impersonate others or misrepresent your role in the program.
  • Don’t submit unlawful, abusive, or deliberately misleading content, including into AI features.

Your content

You own the reflections, answers, and profile content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, display, and use that content to run the program — including showing your task work to your matched mentor and committee members, and using de-identified, aggregated information for program reporting. See the Privacy Policy for how personal information is handled.

Our content

The Platform — its software, design, and original content, including the Cultural Atlas, interactive tools, and program materials — is protected by copyright. © 2026 Jack Sherrell. All rights reserved. SKIWA program names, logos, and partner marks remain the property of their respective owners. You may not copy, republish, or create derivative works from the Platform without written permission.

AI features

AI features (the Atlas coach, roleplay and simulation tools) generate content automatically and can be wrong, incomplete, or oversimplified. They are educational aids for the program — not professional, legal, career, or cultural advice. Cultural content describes broad patterns to help you notice differences; it is explicitly not a basis for stereotyping individuals.

Availability and changes

The Platform is provided as part of a volunteer-supported community program. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or revoke access for breach of these terms or conduct that harms the program or its members.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant service.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. We may update them from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision, and continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions: hello@jacksherrell.com.
